98 Provence in Ogunquit, Maine

by Denise
(Bedford, MA)

We arrived late on a cold windy June night (that's Maine for you!) and there were no tables available, but they kindly let us sit in the bar area for dinner. None of that mattered once the food came. The butter lettuce and arugula salad was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed. The fisherman's stew was equally flavorful, perfect for the evening chill, and impressively full of shellfish and hefty chunks of white fish. The service was excellent, and even though we had a small table near the door, it was a lovely evening. I plan to go again and experience a table in the dining room!
